Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) is convening its third annual flagship event, DigiWeek 2022, on July 27-28, 2022, and we invite you to join the conference at the Pullman Hotel Thamrin Jakarta, in person or online.
Engage with national and international stakeholders, practitioners, academics, and experts to discuss the digital economy and gain more insights into how digital transformation could lead to a safe and inclusive digital ecosystem for all in Indonesia.
There will be engaging sessions to discuss how Indonesia’s strategy for digital transformation could help economic recovery and open up access to the global value chain, as well as pertinent issues such as edutech, cyber security, access for women, and more.
We’re excited that we will be joined by prominent speakers from the Indonesian government, such as H.E. Minister of Communication and Informatics Johnny G. Plate, H.E. Minister of Tourism and Economy Creative Sandiaga Uno, Dr. Ing. H. Ilham Akbar Habibie, Chairman of the Implementation Team of the National Information and Communication Technology Council (Wantiknas), representatives from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Ministry of Trade, National Cyber and Crypto Agency, and also leading digital companies such as Google, VISA, GoPay, and many more.

Maritime UK and the Department for Transport have established a Maritime Skills Commission to lead the sector’s work in ensuring the maritime sector has a pipeline of talented people to serve all parts of the sector - covering shipping, ports, leisure marine, engineering, science and professional services.
The Maritime Minister set the Commission seven objectives, one of which was to increase exports of maritime education and training. Since then we have been working with industry, training providers and the Department of International Trade through webinars and Directory.
