Hosted by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and BritCham Indonesia, the Climate Chamber Mission is a virtual international trade and knowledge exchange event. This event connected sustainable and low carbon conscious countries, circular cities and businesses seeking to build international partnerships and deliver on ambitious climate targets.
Across the two days, on 2-3 November 2021, 10 countries took part in this event along with with 10 companies representing each country. As the only emerging country invited to take part in this global event, Indonesia led three sectors. Green Finance and Circular Economy to highlight and showcase sectorial benefits in moving to a circular economy as part of the wider climate change ambitions to reach net-zero. Also in Human Capital, to investigate the needs, challenges and opportunities of talents acquisition to support organisations in achieving net-zero commitments.
In this global event, participating businesses were joined by inspirational keynote speakers, bespoke expert forums, business to business meetings, networking with peers and site visits (for individuals in Glasgow).
