30 July 2026, PwC Indonesia Jakarta — BritCham Indonesia’s Talent HUB convened its latest session, bringing together senior representatives from government, industry, and the education sector to explore one of the most pressing challenges facing Indonesia’s workforce today, talent mobility and the future of careers in an increasingly dynamic and interconnected economy.
Hosted at PwC Indonesia’s offices in Jakarta, the session drew together a diverse group of professionals and decision-makers, reflecting BritCham Indonesia’s continued commitment to facilitating meaningful dialogue across sectors and stakeholders within the wider UK–Indonesia ecosystem.
Opening the Conversation
The event was opened with remarks from Mercy Francisca Sinaga (Cisca), Chairwoman of BritCham Indonesia and Director/Chief Legal & Government Relations Officer of PT Prudential Life Assurance Indonesia.
Welcome remarks were delivered by Aurina Setyawitta, Co-Chair of the BritCham Indonesia Talent HUB and National Director of PT DOE Intawards Indonesia, with the panel discussion expertly moderated by Odin Olaya, Co-Chair of the BritCham Indonesia Talent HUB and Business Development Manager of ABE UK.
A Multi-Perspective Discussion
The programme was structured around three core perspectives, each presented by a speaker from a distinct sector, collectively building a coherent narrative on the state of talent mobility in Indonesia.
The session progressed from an examination of employer demand and the skills that Indonesian businesses require, to an exploration of what the United Kingdom brings to the table through talent, training, and professional networks. The discussion then turned to the mechanisms and collaborative approaches needed to bridge the gap between skills supply and market demand, drawing on insights from both the public and private sectors.
Connecting Government, Industry, and Education
The Talent HUB session reinforced BritCham Indonesia’s role as a platform for purposeful engagement, bringing together perspectives that are rarely heard in the same room, and creating space for the kind of cross-sector dialogue that can translate into tangible outcomes for Indonesia’s workforce development agenda.
